Summary/ Main purpose
To work as part of the logistics team responsible for the managing of third party logistics and provider support to the Supply Chain team. You are responsible for:
- Responsible for the logistics support and administration for the Nuvias logistics team.
- Progressing and managing of inbound and outbound shipments to & from our UK and NL warehouses
- Pro-active management of agreed SLA’s with our suppliers
- performance monitoring through reporting and creation of action plans to drive continuous process improvement.
- Responsible for defined business processes, managing them at your own level and driving continuous improvement.
- Understanding of the Standard Operating Procedures of the 3rd Party Warehouse providers and suggesting improvements to obtain gains in efficiency
- Adhering to company policy and working to the company ISO Quality Management system (9001 certification) and company security management system (27001 certification) at all times.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Inbound shipment monitoring and communication with the Supply Chain team.
- Export documentation creation and approvals.
- Creation of basic and complex shipping quotes to support a global customer base.
- Courier and carrier exception monitoring and resolution.
- Internal helpdesk ticket monitoring and escalation handling.
- Ad-hoc information based requests to support sales teams with inflight orders.
- General logistics administration to support day to day running of the team.
- Vendor specific advanced replacement shipping, monitoring and invoicing.
- Stock check outcome monitoring, logging and remedial work.
- Support in obtaining information and documentation in relation to import and export compliance.
- Support in training and ongoing improvements across the Logistics and Warehousing operations.
- Travel to site to support warehousing operations where required.

- Stock accuracy within our 3PL’s
- Delivery accuracy from our 3PL’s including the carriers they use – inbound & outbound
- 3PL’s accuracy in pick & pack process

Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience working within a warehousing and/or logistics environment
- Data management
- Producing clear, accurate and concise reports for use internally
- Knowledge and application of continuous improvement methodology
- Knowledge appropriate application of a range of root cause problem solving tools and techniques
